Lundi fut le jour où j’ai fait ma citrouille-lanterne; vous voyez le résultat en haut! Ce n’est rien d’extraordinaire – surtout puisque les jambes de la créature étaient trop minces pour soutenir le poids de son corps; donc deux jambes ont disparu avant que j’avais fini mon travail! (Ou alors je rends hommage à la pauvre araignée que j’avais trouvé dans ma baignoire cet été qui n’avait que 6 jambes…) Sacrée araignées!

That is one sweet spider! Seriously! I can hear him snicker, kinda like Boo.
Well, I hope you didn’t become too attached to him, for he is now an ex-spider! After spending the last two days held in place with toothpicks, his weight was too much for his skinny little legs, and this morning I found him lying on his back, smiling up at me from the bottom of the pumpkin.
I now have but one day to figure out a plan B for my jack-o-lantern situation!
