Petite précision: elle faisait partie d’une groupe, CARAL (Canadian Association for the Repeal of Abortion Laws), qui luttait contre la loi sur l’avortement – une loi qui, à l’époque, interdisait l’avortement au Canada. Donc elle était “pro-choix”.
The pro-choice movement had success: the law was struck down by the Supreme Court on January 28, 1988. “The law is found to violate section 7 of the Charter of Rights and Freedoms because it infringes upon a woman’s right to life, liberty, and security of the person.”

Trés intéressant. Ta documentation est impeccable, comme d’habitude.
Je note qu’elle était pour le “reapeal abortion law” ça m’étonne un peu vu son action sociale tous azimuts. Par conviction religieuse peut-être?
